Top 5 Social Networking Apps in Latvia: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top social networking applications in Latvia showed diverse trends in downloads and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Threads, developed by Instagram, Inc., experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at approximately 4.6K at the beginning of October and closing the year with around 5.5K. Despite the variation in downloads, revenue remained non-existent throughout the quarter.

Telegram Messenger by Telegram FZ-LLC saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $14.8K in the last week of December. Weekly downloads also showed growth, rising from about 2.8K at the start of the quarter to 3.8K by the end.

WhatsApp Messenger, from WhatsApp Inc., maintained a consistent download rate with a noticeable spike to 4.3K in late December. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Facebook by Meta Platforms, Inc. showed a varied revenue trend, reaching a high of $760 in early November. Downloads began at 1.9K, gradually increasing to 2.6K in the week before Christmas.

Finally, Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out from Discord, Inc. demonstrated a stable download pattern, peaking at 1.3K in late December. Revenue figures fluctuated, with a high of $1.9K in mid-December.
